Trees are the largest and amongst the longest-living species on earth. They have a special role in our history, our development and in protecting our future well-being. Being able to tell them apart can bring a lot of pleasure in its own right and is a vital step to learning more about them, how to care for them and to gaining an appreciation of their value.
This course will provide sufficient information to enable you to identify a number a common species of tree and understand how to go about identifying the ones you cannot recognise on sight.
